June contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair back in March 2017. Here mother had passed away and she was in the process of getting the home on the market. The garage of the home would flood anytime it rained and June knew that she would not be able to sell the home in the current condition, especially the garage. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector Justin Edwards met with June to discuses the best option to keep the rain our of the garage of the home. Our crew, led by Cornelius Lamb, installed our Trench Drain System along with a SuperSump, UltaSump III and a battery back up. June is happy to have the garage of the home fixed of the rain water entering the garage of the home.

Have brick veneer home on sandy loam. It was built in 1973 (1,000 sq. ft). On crawl space with slab carport/utility combination. No sever damage noticed yet, but piers under home seem too few and cinder block with shems and bricks as support. Bathroom floor (no obvious water issues since lived her about 9 years, shower leak but no water damage at repair. About 1-1.25 inch drop in bath at hallway doorway near bath's behind-door linen closet, soft spots/sagging in about a 2'x3' area from head of tub, in front of closet (closet solid) and up to hallway hinge-side door frame. Under home, we used light and see some cinder blocks cracked and fallen away, 1 tilting pier (may have sunk a little, and may be leaning) and creaking floor in kitchen and bedroom at times (seasonally better or worse). Think tub area could use more support and certainly a couple of other areas floor is humped or sagging. Not too level when bought old home, but not worrisome until softness showing in bathroom area, seems to be getting worse. Definitely not supported well enough under home. Trench along inside of crawlspace is not back-filled (not sure if back-fill refers to outer foundation wall or inner foundation wall. No real damage on brick veneer so not awful "YET"! Estimate to fix minimally, very tight budget right now. If not doable inexpensively, (adding a few supports, and sheming up a few existing piers), may have to attempt to do something make-shift ourselves (prefer not to do this however). I appreciate your expertise in these matters. I also have several dogs, so would have to put them inside home while work done outside. Will you need to be inside as well to shore-up piers, or could all work be done outside? We also have a barn shed 12x20 that sunk and is off bricks (dogs dug under) but can't figure how to jack up one side safely in sandy loamy soil. Tried to get shed mover's number but can't get sales person to call us back. They said they would level once when it settled. Honestly, my husband and I talked about having the whole shed lifted and moved forward out of this "pit" our dogs have made under it. But the house is most-important right now. I can assist inside with "calling level" if necessary while work done under home. How long would be expected to take to do job? Hours? or whole day?

I have a house built in 1939. Energy bills keep going up. I have little to no insulation in walls. I would like to see what it would cost to have insulation blown into exterior walls of house. House is 1901 sq. ft. with 18 windows & 3 exterior doors. I have replaced windows, and exterior doors, blown in attic insulation and insulated under the house. Exterior wall insulation is all I have left.
