Harold and his wife, Kim, contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair because the crawl space of their home only had a vapor barrier on one side. They knew that by only having a vapor barrier on one side of the home would not help to keep the moisture out of the crawl space.
Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair was able to help Harold and Kim by installing the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. The CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System is designed to for a poured concrete, or dirt crawl space. It protects the home from problems like high humidity, mold, Mildew, odors and allergies from enter the home from the crawl space.
James contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair concerned about the crawl space of his home in Oriental, NC. The crawl space had flooded during Hurricane Matthew and he wanted to know the best way to prevent future problems from the flooding of the crawl space. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair owner Christopher Reeves met with James to go over the damage that had been done to the home and the best solution to prevent future problems like mold and wood rot from accruing. Chris found that the best solution would be to install the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. The CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System isolates the crawl space from the ground sealing the crawl space. We installed the crawl space with the 20 mil CleanSpace Liner, CleanSpace Drainage Matting, and SilverGlo, We also installed a SmartSump Sump Pump System to pump out any moisture in crawl space along with a SaniDry Sedona. James is glad that he chose Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair for his crawl space needs.
Janis contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair after being referred to us by Cape Fear Restoration. She was experiencing sagging floors in her den and hallways and she had interior cracks around the door frames in her hallway. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector Mike Varano met with Janis to go over the problems she was having. Mike found that Janis's problems were coming from piers in the crawl space of the home that was no rendered useless because they had settled and was no longer supporting the home. We were able to fix Janis issues by installing the SmartJack System. The SmartJack System was used as a supplemental column support along with a supplemental beam to support the floors of the home. Janis is glad that Cape Fear Restoration recommended Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair to fix the problems with her home.
