CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was installed to completely block moisture and musty odors from seeping into this crawl space. It was installed throughout the space, which included the walls, support columns and floor. 

We installed SilverGlo insulation in this crawl space to improve energy efficiency and create a more comfortable living environment. SilverGlo provides superior thermal performance, helping to regulate temperatures and reduce energy costs. Anton contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after realizing that the thin vapor barrier in the crawl space was no longer protecting his home from moisture and humidity causing musty odors and mold issues.

Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair replaced the old, thin and failing vapor barrier with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. Unlike the old 6mil liner vapor barrier the CleanSpace System is a 20 mil thick liner with antimicrobial properties built in to prevent mold and mildew growth. By installing the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System we are able to separate the problem of the earth's ground from entering the home.

Southeast Foundation & Crawl space Repair scheduled for one of our design specialist, Mr. Ben Daniels to go out and do an inspection of the crawl space. Upon speaking with Mr. Jerry showing him the condition of his crawl space, Mr. Ben proposed a CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation to help with the moisture and standing water.

Our crew lead by Kevin installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System and sprayed Mold X. First, they started off by removing the old insulation that was soaked with moisture and then treated for the mold . Next, they installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels transferring the insulation barrier to the outer parts of the crawl space. Next, they installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Liner along with a Sedona Dehumidifier and a Smart Sump to help keep the crawl space free of moisture.
