As a result of damage to the crawl space supports, the floor above began to sag. The floor above was stabilized and leveled by installing a steel supplemental beam and SmartJack support posts. The steel beam was placed in the crawl space and was bolted to the existing floor joists to help support them. The SmartJack support posts were then attached to the steel beam and adjusted to stabilize and level the floor above.
The metal crawl space door rusted and corroded due to moisture. A customized EverLast Crawl Space door was installed to prevent moisture from leaking through the crawl space door.
We lifted and leveled a severely sunken concrete slab using PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a high-density polyurethane foam used to lift and level sunken concrete slabs. It is injected beneath the slab, where it expands and hardens, lifting the concrete back to its original position and providing a stable, level surface.
John called Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair about having a vapor barrier installed in the crawl space of his home. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector Randy Johnson met with John to go over the best action to take for the results that John wanted for his crawl space. Our crew lead by Ricky Warren installed our CleanSpace Encapsulation System using our 10 mil CleanSpace Liner, SmartSump and a SaniDry CX. John is extreamly happy with the work that Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair did.
