Chester contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair because he had noticed that there were some sagging floors in his home in Erwin, NC. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair owner Christopher Reeves met with Chester to go over the crawl space of the home and find out what was causing the sagging floor issues that he was experiencing. Chris found that Chester's problems were due to softwood caused by a moisture problem and the best way to stabilize the wood would be to install the Smart Jack System along with a steel beam to raise the floors back level until he could afford to take care of the moisture issue. Kelly contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after hiring another company to stabilize floors in her home that failed to lift and stabilize the floors of her home in Selma, NC. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair owner Christopher Reeves met with Kelly to go over the issues and find the best solution for her issues. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Justin Edwards met with Milton to go over the crawl space. Justin found that Milton's issues were coming from high moisture in the crawl space which had started to break down the wood. Our crew lead by Larry Eldridge installed the Smart Jack System to stabilize and raise the floors of the home along with installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to dry out and to keep moisture at bay which had cause the concerning issues, to begin with. Ronald contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair with concerns about cracks on the exterior brick of his home in Fayetteville, NC.

We scheduled for one of our design specialists, Todd, to go out and inspect the home. After the inspection, Todd met with Ronald and proposed that having push piers will permanently stabilize a home's settling foundation and, in many cases, raise it back up. Ronald liked the thought of the process and was ready to move forward with the proposal.

Our crew led by Austin, installed the Push Pier System to help from further settlement, close cracks, and has the potential to lift the home back toward its original elevation.

Using foundation helical piers, this home's foundation was stabilized permanently. The piers were driven deep into the soil layers until they reached a stable layer. Through this method, the home's foundation was able to be secured and the owners can now rest easy knowing the structure is safe.
