Andrew contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair concerned with a dip in his floor at his Durham, NC home. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Justin P. met with Andrew to go over the home to find out the best solution. Justin found that the dip in the floor was due to moisture in the crawl space which had weakened the wood allowing it to dip and drop. The best solution would be to encapsulate the crawl space with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System along with installing the Smart Jack System to stabilize the wood and raise it so that there was no longer a dip. Ezra contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair, she had a company previously fix her home of sagging floor but was still experiencing problems with the floors sagging. The previous contact tried to stabilize the floors just using a deck block and a piece of wood standing up. We removed the wood and deck block and replaced them with our adjustable, galvanized coating SmartJack System. Justin found that the bricks on her home were cracking due to the home settlement and that the best solution would be to stabilize the foundation with the Push Pier System. Our crew installed the Push Pier System stabilizing the foundation and was able to lift the home back to its original position.
